Dear Parents,

The year has gotten off to a great start!  We’ve all been very busy having fun and learning, and we have lots more exciting activities planned.  Here are just a few reminders and requests, for your planning and ours.

• Pumpkin patch field trips are this week and next.  If you haven’t sent in your permission slip, please do so.
• Open House is November 1 from 7 – 9 PM.  Plan to come see your children’s work, chat with the teachers, meet other parents, and enjoy tasty treats.
• Conference Day is Tuesday, November 6.  Sign up for a time at Open House.  If you miss Open House, call to set up a time for an individual meeting with your child’s teachers.
• Picture Day is Wednesday, November 14.  If your child does not regularly go to school that day, he or she is invited to attend.  Let us know if you’ll need bus service.
• Our website has been updated (finally!!) and is up and running!  Many, many thanks to Anabella’s mom (Room 4) and Larissa’s dad (Room 1) for their invaluable assistance in this project.  If you go to happymontessori.com, you’ll find our calendar, downloadable copies of important forms, and other useful information.  You’ll notice that the Gallery link is empty:  this is where we’d like to post photos of your busy children (without names) and artwork (with first names only), after we get your permission.  Please sign the form below if we may use your child’s image and/or artwork on our website.  And let us know if you have any suggestions for how to improve the site!
